Lulo Etnico

Lulo is a fruit similar to tomato or physalis. Its diameter is between 4cm and 6cm, its skin is yellow-green and is covered by small and fine thorns. It has a green-yellow juicy pulp with small edible seeds.

This fruit contains vitamins A, B, C, iron, phosphorus, potassium, fiber, niacin, calcium, potassium and zinc. In Colombia it is harvested primarily in the Huila, Boyacá and Calle del Cauca departments. 

It is also known as Naranjilla.
