Soursop has an ovoid shape with sizes between 10 cm to 34 cm of height and 7 cm to 15 cm of width. Its skin is covered by soft thorns. Contains a juicy and gelatinous white pulp and black seeds not edible.
This exotic fruit is native to the Central American region. In Colombia it is cultivated especially in the Valle del Cauca, Risaralda, Santander and Tolima departments.
